All the cards in their favor. Imagine that

What they have is called Nick Saban.

Why do people go to extraordinary lengths to avoid reaching the simplest, most logical conclusion?

People do the same when it comes to Orgeron, "oh man it's because of this, and that, and that, that's why we lost to Troy and MSU." It's fricking Orgeron.

Yeah you probably think it’s a good idea to recruit a Guard to play tackle too

Even if he lacks the arm length and good leg work required to keep fast skilled dts or des off of a qb

How many o lineman are starting in the nfl from that list?

4 olineman from that list made the nfl.

so 2 years and 4 olineman and thats not counting who gets drafted this year.

Mostly all skill players. Not o linemen

i listed only oline, dline, and lbs

if you knew anything about the sport youd know most cfb tackles end up as guards in the nfl.

Didn’t do LSU any good.....so we just recruit for players to transition to the NFL....who needs championships? Right?

Yet here we are, with a D Line coach nobody else would even hire as a coordinator for a head coach, who just promoted a guy nobody else would hire to OC.

Formula for success right there...

At least he recruited linemen.....

That’s the base. You start there....coach O is a hell of a DL coach....his skill is coaching up d line players....something you seem to covet Coaching up

He coached dL at the NFL level for a reason

His first stringers Bailed on him until the Auburn game....what did you expect to happen last year

Yet he was hired by two P5 programs as an interim head coach to lead their programs and then by one as the permanent head coach.

I said before, O is an elite DL coach. He’s an elite recruiter for another HC. I’m not knocking the guy; in his element, he’s elite.

He’s not HC material.

And he still managed to have a respectable 9 win season that would have been 10 if field goals were made

He does 10-2 or better this year and I’ll back off and revisit my opinion. Anything less is failure. We didn’t fire Les for 9-4.

We all know why usc bailed on coach O

It wasn’t his coaching ability

He wasn’t their golden boy persona

You can’t count that as a coaching failure
