The most bitter sweet bit of news i've heard about LSU in a while.

LINK

This guy might be one of our main contributors this season, but with all the other receivers so hyped up, the question is... who's going to be replaced? RR and RS both very top prospects in the country, TT experienced and easily an NFL prospect... maybe we'll see some more 4-wide sets.

I read that this guy is super impressive thus far in camp practicing with the vets.

The way he runs after the catch reminds me of LaFell

Looks like he is not your typical WR. Seems to be a bit thicker but certainly not slow. Almost looks like a wing back body type.

Because if he took someone's starting spot... it would be a real shame given the fact that RR was number 1 WR prospect and RS was number 1 ATH prospect in the country...

I would trade one of our top 5 WR's for a qb of equal talent at his position... kinda sucks that we'd be so lopsided at skill positions and missing some performance at the key positions.

"If any young guy can take my spot, he can take it," Toliver said.

I really hate when people post a link to youtube and never discuss what the video is about.

He has amazing hands... and it looks like he has the one thing we need, a WR able to adjusts their route to JJ's innaccuracy after the ball is thrown. If you look at his highlights... on bad passes, he breaks his route and gets the ball instead of waiting on it... which prevents defenders from breaking on it... its kind of something I haven't seen our WR's do in a while. Even with the 2007 NC team, they waited on it. We just had a qb with a very quick release which hindered dbs ability to jump routes.

There is no way a freshman takes over for TT, RR, or RS without an injury. Hes looking at #4 spot at best and even then, he would have to beat our Chris Tolliver whos been solid since arriving to campus according to reports.

I dont have access, is it Boone you talking about?

Any entry level communication studies class would tell you that much of our communication is contextual. The context of the message is about a player we never talk about, so I'm assuming the video would relate to that.

he practiced with the vets on day 1, but Miles said not to read too much into that. He wanted him to see how the vets practice.

Yeah, Kadron Boone. I think at the very least he forces Chris Tolliver to become yet another highly recruited WR that gets very little playing time and never a starting spot.

He'll probably be our #5.

Chris Mitchell was our #5 last year and caught 10 balls for 65 yards.
