I like your thinking but, maybe they remember the taunting the LSU punter did to Florida a figure it won't be forgotten. Talk about Motivation I think the gators are licking their chops.

Did you list the absolute slaughter LSU put on AU last year that could act as motivation as well?

Good add !

There are way too many bandwagon and chicken little fans on this site.

Its always a good game with the exception of last season.

14-0 is still my prediction and I also believe They will beat Bama by 10+

give it up man. our offense sucked on saturday. defense played well but auburn's offense hardly has a pulse. we need to improve our focus, and call a better mix of plays where a defense won't dare us to pass the ball, knowing we are a 1st and 2nd down run team. defensive coaches who coach against don't have a lot to plan for, and it showed saturday.

Typical no respect. Les has a way of getting things fixed most of the time. We win and it doesn't matter what everyone else says.

god, i hope this is the approach uf, usc and bama take. also, i hope your ability to enjoy LSU football improves before the season is out. it can't be fun with your attitude. the LSU O hiccuped and we still won. it's a long season. i think we may lost a coupla games but we also may go undefeated. guess that's not good enough for some folks. if you were a football coach and lost brockers, claibourne, tm7, and randall you would be in the corner in a fetal position.

Can I just say that I heard more than a few times last year..."we won't know how good we are until...." and I still felt unsettled...

Even after the first Bama game!!!

But still Mett isn't too bad...better than we had last year but still needs SEC level experience (which he is getting) and that takes just playing the games...one at a time. To me It just doesn't help that the OL still needs work and the receivers.....hell they just need to catch the passes that matter.
Not the quick slats and short post but the back breakers that demoraize the other team: the deep balls and hard to catch balls. We don't have that yet.
