i've got one better. during the 2008 season there were people on this board that claimed we would never beat auburn, florida, or alabama ever again as long as Miles was here.

im dead serious

I want to believe as well!

What I actually KNOW is we better beat the shite out of Ole Piss. Their fans are insufferable pieces of shite.

Choctaw I remember that well!

The fact is, we got our asses handed to us on Saturday.............no doubt. But the season is NOT over. As much as the team was dominated Saturday, they could turn around............much like South Carolina did against Georgia.........and improve by leaps and bounds. The season is still young and we have a TON of young players who got their introduction to SEC football. Hopefully, now many of them understand how you have to approach these games. I think it's definitely possible that we could still win most of our games..........including Auburn and Alabama. Miles has done this before. Why doubt him now?

We'll be fine.

3-1, heading into New Mexico State. We'll beat Auburn, because we're not supposed to. We'll beat Florida, because we're supposed to. And we'll beat Kentucky at home.

6-1 heading into the showdown vs. Ole Miss. Relax Tiger Fans. We'll be fine.

I'll take a ticket. I can get on this train.

I hope you are right Will, and it may happen. Although many here have given up on this year, I don't believe the coaches and players have. If our lines don't improve we are in trouble.

Realistically, we could split the Aub/UF games. We are more likely to lose both than win both. But I think we beat UF.

Kentucky we should beat, Arkansas we should beat. Rebels are a toss up for now.
Bama should beat us, but we know Miles will have us up for that game. A&M likely should beat us, but if the team develops this game is a toss up.

I think it plays out that we lose to Aub, Bama, A&M.
I can't really say about OM as it's an all around wild card.

I am ok with this if we play young guys and get experience. This team will be good in the future.

If they keep the ball on the ground, I don't see how we can beat them.

I still think we can win every game on our schedule, though.

Technically, if we beat Auburn, we're supposed to beat FL. But I digress.
I missed it at first, but that's actually what he said.

Bring what upon yourself? The uncanny ability to watch a sport you like without being an insufferably miserable prick? Yes, I guess some of us do bring that upon ourselves.

I thought it, but I wasn't stupid enough to post it.

that was one of the great 1 week turnarounds that I've seen. not only did we look awful coming off the UF loss (and lose Williford during the game), but then we lost Hurst leading up to the SC game. I thought we'd do nothing against Clowney and co. up front.

It's all up to the coaching staff to prepare a team loaded with talent.

I don't think beating Arkansas will be easy, but their passing game isn't as good as State's. Neither is their QB, and certainly not their defense.

I think we beat them solely due to improvement by that time of year. Unless, of course, we get demoralized with some losses and toss in the towel. I don't think that will happen.

I agree we could beat every team left on schedule, but we both know that won't happen.

It was an arse kicking, just like Florida 2012 was. Our offense which featured Mett, OBJ, and Landry was putrid in that game. These guys are too talented to not play better. Les and his staff are too talented to not coach better. This will still be a good season.

This however is bugging the shite out of me by OP... We play 8 games before Ole Miss so we would be either 6-2 or 7-1. Are you calling for another cancellation due to rain in Gainesville?

How about the ones saying miles would never win another NC after 2007?
