(I was on a Carnival cruise this past weekend out of Mobile to Cozumel, so it was 75% Bama fans on the boat)

I was wearing an LSU shirt on the boat all day Sunday and I got quite a laugh out of being approached by multiple Bama fans that said with an evil shite-eating grin, "What the heck happenned to you guys last night? I can't believe yall lost to Troy!"

I paused for a second and then gave my response ... "you mean what happened in the first half or what happened when we scored 37 unanswered points and had the biggest comeback win in LSU history?"

What kind of cruise? Do you leave Mobile, Alabama and head straight for the first oil rig for your first location? Mobile, Alabama cruise?

Congrats on the comeback.. I was watching the score ticker with disbelief for the first three quarters. but then it seemed like it couldnr keep up with the updates.

But...... to have the "second biggest comeback in LSU history" is one thing.

To have to do it against a Sunbelt team is another

all in good fun guys

Agreed, but even most Alabama fans I talked to admitted that LSU was the better team on that day and Alabama was lucky to come away with a hard-fought victory. LSU certainly had nothing to be ashamed of in its performance against Bama. Obviously, Lee could have played better, but objective observers realize that Lee is a freshman and is going to take some lumps. Unfortunately, LSU fans are by definition not objective as it pertains to LSU football and hence aren't the most knowledgable people to talk to about Lee and his future potential.

I guess you'd know...better than not pulling it out against a Sunbelt team, huh?

I think you could have used that same line on the hordes of people that left Tiger Stadium early on Saturday.

I saw it on their faces saveral times leaving Bryant Denny Miles Tubberville Stadium several times the past couple of years. Prolly will see it again in two weeks when UF hangs 50 on them.

Would it have been better to lose to a Sunbelt team like ULM (21-14). Remember that one?

You should have said:

"The same thing that happened to you guys last year against ULM. Except that we made a comeback...and won."
