I’ve always been amazed that Mett “wasn’t developed here” even though he spent three seasons here compared to about 12 months with a redshirt at Georgia and 6 months at juco.

Mett redshirted at LSU I thought.

Wasn't he booted off the UGA team during fall camp?

No.
Remember Miles threw a hissy fit with Mett vs OM 2011 and the 52-3 mercy knee.

The last time we had a quarterback not developed at LSUHe did very well. Of course two all pro receivers helped. Not saying this guy will be Mett, just looking for positives here...
Not the complete mirror of your thought but: Matt Flynn's first start at LSU was in 2005 Peach Bowl and...………..The last time we had a quarterback not developed at LSU

He did very well

If you told me he would have over 150 yards passing in 70% of his starts with either Derrius Guice or Leonard Fournette as his RB...

Then yes, I would say that’s good.

This is embarrasing

He had one year under Richt. That hardly qualifies as "development". He had remarkable improvement in his final year. His first 8 starts as a Tiger were pretty underwhelming. He was Cam's only accomplishment.

So Mett was "developed" before he got to LSU and sat behind the Jarrett Lee and Jordan Jefferson? Who gets "credit" for that?
