My dad actually moved his 2 tickets along with his business partners 2 tickets that were in the gold seats in the old stadium and got new ones in left field when they opened those tickets up to get away from some of that stuff.
Seemed like we had more fun in the outfield and more people were enjoying the game than having a parade type deal at the game. Sure the seats weren't chair backs and we sat in the sun but we loved it and never missed a game and we wound up going to Omaha several times in the 90's. I guess our priorities weren't right or something.
Several times we gave tickets away when we were out of town and the people we gave them to said they were treated like leppers by the people around them.

People bitch about the football fans "losing seats to big spenders who don't want to get off their arse and cheer".... Then bitch about "Chris never stays in his seat"
oookay. These are the fans I wan to party with, not the guys eating grey poupon and caviar.
