The job Will Wade has done is impressive even from high expectations...

I loved the Will Wade hire and thought he could build a program here, but it's happened quicker than I could have imagined.

This program was swirling down the toilet.

In less than 2 seasons, we're top in SEC and a national contender. Instead of being an underachieving or poorly managed team, we have continued to overachieve. Even last years NIT wasn't probable before season began.

Now he has us already in the big picture discussion in year 2. With almost all his own players. That's remarkable. Sometimes you see an underachieving coach with solid players replaced by another coach that has immediate success.

That's not the case here really, except Skylar - who I may do a thread on, because he deserves tons of praise from LSU fans.

This team is Will Wade built. In under 2 seasons. Having a team bonding and playing to this degree in such a short period of time is a testament to the coach. Each player maturing and accepting role, expanding role, reeling in a star player, giving green light to multiple players, developing the players and their game, etc.

This team is 21-4 and could literally finish 36-4. Not putting cart in front of horse, just saying. Coach Wade and these amazing players are capable of greatness.

It's such a great time to be a fan and appreciate all the hard work and dedication.

Really makes you wonder if anything illegal is going on.

What I like about Wade is we do things the right way. We play defense and crash the boards. He can design In bound plays and half court plays to get a designed shot. He makes great halftime adjustments. And we improve on areas of weakness throughout the season.

Combined with his recruiting, we literally can’t do or ask for better

Love the enthusiasm for the team and Wade but because almost every game is a nail biter, let’s prognosticate 1 game at a time.

I don't disagree with this. But that's also part of my point. We're ahead of schedule.

And that's some luck but also the program building and why I'm surprised.

And why is that? Because he got a highly ranked recruiting class? This is absurd.

Even if there were, you still have to play the games.

Playing for a young, progressive, charismatic coach that has a limited but proven track record.

That's your concern?

As a player you can go to KU and on record have a dump truck of cash unloaded at your house. Great speculation though. Good job.
