1. Win every game at least 70-0
2. Throw a long TD pass and have an 80 yard run for TD every play
3. Defense blitzes everybody and gets a sack and and int return for a TD every play.
4. KR return for a TD at least 3-4 times per game
5. PR for TD at least 3-4 times per game
6. Qb with perfect passes rating, 5 TDs no INTS per game, but still gets benched because the backup is better
7. RB average 20+yards per carry with a TD every time he gets the ball, but gets benched because the backup has better looking calves.
8. Go undefeated, win the SEC and NC, dominating every single opponent with no game even close.
9. Fire all the coaches after the season because Nick Saban would have done better.
Spend endless hours on the rant pining away because the program has fallen into dissaray.

1. End the pyschotic witch hunts for the dreaded hooch in the stadium. Did it really hurt anyone when students threw bourbon and cokes into the air after a TD? Was it a bad thing that people could maintain a buzz throughout a game instead of coming down by halftime?

2. Big strong OL leading a power offense. Ex. 2003-2007.

3. A defense that not only keeps teams out of the end zone, but also goes 3-and-out once in a while. Ex. 2002-2006.

4. Gold instead of yellow.

One thing i wish they would change tho is the policy they have about smoking in tiger stadium...you cant smoke in the stadium, but you also cant leave and come back in and if iam a smoker and the tigers are playing bad i need to smoke. i either have to leave the game or get kicked out of the game

You must have dreamed this. Ive been going to games since the 70s and it was usually pretty empty in the 4th (except when the team is highly ranked, which wasnt much back then).

WAY better line play on both sides. And coaches that get in the players face a little bit

When I attended LSU, the stadium was half full at kickoff.

Watch the ESPN special 30 in 30 called "The U" We need the swagger, without all the thieves, thugs, hookers, drugs, etc. Plus we need the talent in Miami. Maybe Jimmy Johnson as well.

No, I am talking about the Death Valley of the sixties, seventies and eighties

The eighties? Are you sure about that, there were about 20k empty seats then

Hate to shoot holes in your theory, but why were the last 10 years the most successful in LSU history?

With all the white collar folks? How could it be so?

This is the fact.......a dominant, exciting, competitive LSU football team puts asses in the seats, a full, loud Tiger Stadium is the result of on the field play. Not vice versa.

I'd be happy if they just loosened up the alcohol policy. I know its a conference rule, but MooState doesnt have regard for the rule against bells, why should LSU be so zealous against alcohol?

Believe it or not, I think it would be safer. All the idiots trying to get as loaded as possible prior to kickoff is what causes the most problems. It stops some of them from moderating their intake and spreading it over an extra 3+ hours.

I believe the policy has the opposite effect as intended.

If what you all are saying is true, then why and how did Tiger Stadium get it's name Death Valley?
It sure wasn't by sitting on your hands and booing the players and Coaches of your team.
The stadium I remember from the time I started going in the early sixties the stadium started filling up well before the game started and it stayed that way especially for a highly ranked team and it was always loud. The coaches and the team can not make the noise. Back then the noise was already there when the team came into the stadium and it was loud pretty much all the way through. There was not the boos going on back then as it is now toward our team. Yea there was a section in upper Northwestern section, but that has always been there even against highly ranked teams because that was the student section. The stadium never as long as went to the games emptied as early as the beginning of the 3rd quarter like it does now even when the outcome of the game is still in question. To me that is a slap in the face to the players that are giving their all for this University. The fans need to start doing their part if they want the stadium to become Death Valley again, it is not the team or the Coaches that make the up the Stadium it is the fans. Now it is filled with what have you done for me lately fans of today insted of fans that are glad to be in and part of the Stadium as it was back then. To have a ticket was a privilage to have in order to root for their team insted of now as a means to bash the team and it's Coaches. If you do not want to root for and support your team then let the fans that will yell, root for and support their team have the tickets in order to fill the Stadium.

I remember when in 1979 USC came into Tiger Stadium and the final score was 3-0 in favor of USC and the Stadium was packed the whole game and no one complained about not enough offense, they talked about how LSU held the mighty Trojans to 3 points not how we where held scoreless. If that game was played today that Stadium would emptied before halftime and all you would read about is how we did not play worth a crap. That game by the way was played in a driving rain storm from start to finish and no one cared they stayed anyway. That was also true with the Bama game the year before it too was 3-0 and it rained all the way through and no one left early then either. It was because of the fans that helped to make those games memoriable because of the fans that helped to push the team to play harder.JMHO!

To paraphrase Pat Dye (or Vince Dooley): An LSU fan's ideal season is to go undefeated, untied, unscored upon, and fire the coach! Heard a radio announcer quote that earlier this year.

get off of here. BTW -Keep elieving in Nicko. just wait until $$$ comes around again. He REALLY wants to be a head coach in the NFL again regardless of what he says in public. He does NOT accept failure and he feels he failed in Miami. Let the New England Job or some other come around. He is GONE!

Let him win a couple of NC's. He is
1. YOUNG
2. The right opportunity might be a DC in NFL for a couple of years.
3. HE HATES failure - personally.
4. GO on believing some NFL team won't offer him. there are LOTS of recycles out there. More than you can count in-fact.
