Blessings and prayers to you and your family. I lost my Dad in Sept '09 and to this day I still miss talking LSU football and baseball with him.
Stay strong and Geaux Tigers!

I am a longtime lurker on this board and rarely post but your post struck home in an unbelievably strong way. As I type this I am at the VA Hospital in NOLA sitting next to my father in the ICU unit. He is also a huge Tiger/Saints fan. My earliest memories also all involve him and I watching, cheering and yes cursing at both LSU and the Saints. He has severe liver, Kidney and heart issues. We are doing dialysis over a long period (72 hours) hoping it jumps starts his kidneys and gives liver a chance to get better. Its frankly a hail Mary but I have to try. Ill be praying for your family.

Your grief will pass, but give it time. Good memories will last. Lost my Dad ten years ago, and mom five years ago. Lost my dear wife one year ago.
Don’t let others tell you how to grieve, go at your pace. The Holy Spirit will be with you. All you must do is ask.
