I am personally not a sunshine pumper or a Kool-Aid drinker but I live in reality and I can tell you that I believe
having the freshman play along with the sophomores is the right course of action for J Johnson. We have terrible relief pitching and mediocre starting pitching with one of those guys injured. My biggest frustration is how they have evaluated the talent of this existing pitching staff because some of these guys are certainly not capable at this point of handling the competition in the SEC.. The reality is even though CJJ has two national championships over the last four years now in his 5th at the he end of the season he’s probably gonna wind up being under 500 in SEC games at this pace. This kind of reminds me of blowing up a balloon and then letting all the air go out and it falls to the ground. Something is not right and I have no doubt he’ll give us his best effort and try to fix it. This season is simply a nightmare and it reminds me of the demise of Coach O after the national championship run.

2 of those guys injured with 4 position players hurt, which is why this is nothing like O

O had no idea what he was doing, Jay knows how to fix this. He’s using this as a tryout for next year at this point. Keep the good, dump the bad and get guys this offseason. That’s all you can do

Evans being a last minute scratch on Friday forced Jay to rely on our inconsistent bullpen much earlier than he wanted.

Its not crazy to argue it had a trickle down effect that led to both losses.

Just par for the course for this incredibly frustrating season

I like the young players on the line up and are producing. Keep these kids around and the will be fine if they find some consistent arms. It’s not the end of the world. If they don’t commit the errors in some games and have two more bullpen arms no one it talking all the blah blah

True, but Ed was dealing with COVID, BLM and the undefeated champion of the world!
