If we are going to find our NEXT any basketball coach at LSU, it will be our NEXT Dale Brown for me, NOT Wade. I mean, I'd rather shoot for a clone of a coach that led us to MULTIPLE final 4s and other times just missing out on the final 4, vs a coach that was never close to that. But, that is just me. I know the kids on here love them some WW, which still blows my mind considering he was never a threat for a deep run.

Took him 10 years to do that and 6-7 years just to make the tourney. Wade paced better and won at a higher rate than Brown.

If you look at those types of posters, most of them got on this board between 2022-24. Pretty obvious really

You do realize what the program was before he took over right? I doubt you do. You people are unreal. I don't hate Wade, but if he was so damn good I ask again, why hasn't he been scooped up after his first year with Mcnese? Please answer.
People like you, putting down Brown. He built LSU basketball and put them on the national scene. Towards the end he obviously flamed out like many do. But for a good long run, when March rolled around, you could count on LSU making a run more times than not. Used to love the big games he would set up out of conference....and sell out the Superdome...or close to it. UNLV in BR, Georgetown in the Dome. There was plenty of hype with bigtime results. It honestly blows my mind how you guys blow this dude. There have been MANY like him that never amounted to much of anything...and it has to be concerning no one has come calling for him. But, you guys do you. I wish they would bring him back to show you how good he really is. The SEC has changed.

Nobody’s putting Dale Brown down and yes you do hate Wade so cut your BS. You continue to lie and say you keep asking this question and nobody answers when you’ve been answered at least 3 dozen times. You made the comparison, you don’t get to all of the sudden go “but muh reasons” just because your argument was ignorant and you don’t know what you’re talking about. The last part of your post is conflicting and panicked word salad so maybe put the bottle down and try to form a coherent statement next time.

Wade couldn't carry Dale Brown's jock. Only two other people in modern times have done as much for LSU as Dale Brown....Nick Saban and Skip Bertman. Simple as that.

Dale built LSU basketball but the facts I stated are correct. Again the point wasn’t to belittle Brown it was to show the path we were on was a very good one. In fact it was unprecedented for a start to an LSU Bball coaching career.

But now since everyone can buy players, Wade lost his advantage. It's unclear how Wade would do now. I think he's a decent coach, nothing more.

Let me list the violations Wade was penalized for
- failure to report a potential violation
- failure to present an atmosphere of cooperation
- failure to cooperate
- impermissible payments to an ex players girlfriend
He didn’t pay any players, I don’t know why people here keep repeating this ignorant nonsense. The Auburn coaches who were caught in the same scandal they tried to tie Wade to went to jail and you think Wade did the same thing but only got a few games suspension? Cmon now
He’s much better than a decent coach, he’s winning at a place that never wins setting the record for wins, getting Mcneese to its 1st NCAA tourney in over 20 years and only it’s 3rd ever. Something he’s likely to repeat this season. He’s also never had a losing season and has taken 3 different teams to the NCAA tourney. All this in just 10 years as a HC. If you think he’s nothing more than decent you don’t know what you’re talking about.
