I swear. Its like jj had sex with his girl. He actually called jj a running back playing qb. I just don't understand the hate for a qb that put up matt flynn numbers.

The best part is it's not even the proper fricking term for that position. Not to mention he can't even master your/you're. He's quite entertaining.

I just Googled it.
No such thing as either a Psychological or Psychologic Engineer at NASA.
In fact, the terms psychologic and/or psychological do not appear next to each other on the NASA website.
And if you think about it, it is a patently absurd profession.
Engineering behaviors and personalities?

They should find a way to factor in 'sacks when he had ample time to throw it away' into efficiency rating.
JJ's completion percentage would have been around 57% if he had thrown the ball away throughout the year instead of taking some of the sacks which were preventable.

Engineering Psychology is a relatively new term in the field. It's glorified ergonomics.

Kid also showed flashes of brilliance. Kid just needs to develop under a decent coach, which we do not have. A decently coached OL might help. You had people bitching about him stepping into a pocket that didn't exist most of the season. Our interior line operated more like a turnstile, than a roadblock.
I think there is a significant portion of the fanbase that is pushing too much of the blame on the kids shoulders, when he did not LOSE us a single game. There weren't many that he won, but he never lost one for us.

"JJ for being inexperienced"
In reading these types of threads, I am really getting a fresh admiration for how good Tommy Hodson was.

Greg McElroy JR 13 games 192-314 61.15% 2450yds 17td 4int
avg: 188.5yds 1.3td .3 int
If you don't think there are a myriad of factors at play and not just QB play, let's hear it.
I think this post proves exactly the point the original poster was trying to make. The difference between the two is that McElroy had a solid OL in front of him and a running game to go with it. You can also probably throw in the fact that Alabama was much more efficient in getting plays into the huddle and snapped without delay of game penalties or having to call timeouts. So those 3 factors IMO contributed to the different offensive rankings for both teams.
It should be noted, however, that JJ was much better than McElroy in the red zone. Not sure what caused Alabama's funk in the red zone but they had a really rough time once they got there.
