how can everyone blame the game on Miles when our defense gave up 525 yards? if we had half of the defense we have seen in the past few years we would be beating everyone by at least 21 points every game. Can't be so stupid to jump to conclusions and take the easy way out and blame Les..

At some point, it's the individual player that has to mentally prepare himself for an upcoming game.

I blame this loss on Les the same way I blame a manager at McDonalds when my order is wrong.

Well then that does it. His comments prove miles is an elite gameday coach who is always prepared even in defeat. He puts out great performances whether winning or losing on a regular basis. Before long he will be winning a title of some sort every 3 years and will challenge every other year. Lmao

Just saying that he didn't entirely lose the game.. the players on the field had something to do with it

First off, I'm not talking about Miles Vs. Saban, I'm talking about the body of work

Over 80% of games won, that body of work?

But I'm talking about across a full season Miles screws things up, whether it results in a loss or puts us in a bad spot and we have to struggle to survive he still does it.

What coach doesn't? If you're waiting on us to hire a perfect coach, it isn't happening. Even Saban fricks up every year.

The NFL talent is just another way to measure talent coming out of your program.

We recruited them here?

quote:

What I'm getting at is over the coarse of the last few years talent was the reason we lose 2 games a year and not 4.

The talent that fumbled the ball at UF? The talent that played like shite against Clemson? The talent that let a screen go for a TD at home against Bama?

quote:

As long as we have talent we'll be good enough to hang with anyone, but fall just short b/c more times than not we're not as prepared as our opponent.

I assume you have nothing but your own opinion as proof of this statement.

Less is averaging an sec title every 4.5 years since he has two in 9 years and that average span will continue to get wider and wider. Nicholas bling won two in 5 years here and two in 6 years at bama not even counting the national titles. We dont even want to go there.

What about other coaches in the conference? What about other coaches across the nation? Newsflash, we can't have Nick.

Did Miles throw 3 int's in OM's territory? No.

Those throws were Mett's decision to make or not make. Take away those 3 and we certainly win the game.

I have been very happy with Mett this year and impressed with his improvements, but the bulk of the responsibility for this loss is on him.

If you knew before the game that we'd hold Ole Miss to 10 first half points, I think anyone would have been happy.

It is kind of unfortunate that if not for Saban at Bama, we'd all be very happy with our program. Probably how Tenn felt in the 90s about Spurrier's Fla teams always knocking them to the citrus.

So we have little money bad recruiting base and terrible facilities? We have to settle for these performaces year in and year out? Really? These gameday coaching issues cannot be fixed? That much is apparent after 9 years!

I notice you have no answer. But thanks for the irrelevant ramble though.

Nope not if you grade performances based on our assets. Recruits facilities money. You could not be more wrong. Less has underachieved with what he had. I laid out the 8 games he lost where he shoulda won. That is a far cry from asking him to win them all because nobody expects that.

Yea, we're the only team with elite level facilities not winning championships 3 out of 4 years.

You couldn't be more delusional.

It is so easy to win 80% of your games at LSU that why every coach here, including Saban, haven't done it previously.

I can find you plenty of games Bama should have won too.

You expect exactly that.

Mett threw them....but he's not the one who called the play in the first place. Once to the well would have been enough for me!
