I didn't follow them much during the early season, but down the stretch, I'm not sure you got one single game right. Apparently when lsu "almost" loses it turns out to be a valid argument to use when you shite on lsu but when people say lsu almost won the Bama game, they are HOmERZ!!!!!!

He posts earlier challenging me to provide links to where he said A&M would roll LSU....when someone proves it......forget it, we know what we are working with when dealing with this loser. In case y'all don't know, this piece of shite is actually a bama troll...there isn't any doubt in my mind.....a real LSU fan has some feel about the team and whether they will win or lose...

I've lurked the rant somewhat during this season, don't think I've ever posted anything here. This thread has raised a lot of good points about the acceptability (or not) of an 8-4 LSU. Would the mood around here be a little more accepting of the current state of LSU football if Bama was a 9-3 or 8-4 team this year? Hell, AU was in the NCG last year and is an 8-4 team with essentially the same squad minus Tre Mason and a couple of D-linemen.

this is where you have a hard time hiding your gump ties. This wasn't an LSU thing, it's pretty common knowledge that bama gets calls in close games, regardless of who they are playing. I could go over a long list of calls they have gotten near the end of tight games, that had a direct impact on the outcome of the game...however, you aren't here to actually acknowledge things like that, it doesn't fit your agenda on here....nevertheless, everyone that posts regularly on this site knows what kind of person they are dealing with in you, and that's not a good thing for you.

It wouldn't change anything with me. But, there are a lot of posters on here that are pretty small-minded and quite frankly uneducated. They measure everything compared to bama. Then again, there are many on here that are actual bama fans that have aliases as LSU fans.
Now for me, this season would have been a success in my eyes had we gone 9-3 with a win over bama......but I don't consider 8-4 a failure.

He hadn't won a conference championship in 7 years there, and quite frankly, got absolutely slaughtered several times when playing important games. It seemed they lost all of the important games.
