We failed to score a run after and let’s face it, we were living on borrowed time at that point.

The bizarre move to pull Ack after three straight Ks for a pitcher that pitched over 100 pitches a couple days ago however is likely what cost us. If it were Skenes then yes, but I just can’t wrap my head around this one. It’s like tarot card coaching.

I hate it for him and some people are going overboard on him but it was the third out and the winning run scored right after. That’s kind of a huge deal. He’s going to be a great player here if he can move on from it.
