I'm just being a realist here, but this thread is an indirect way of sucking some Saban cock.

If it's not called than it's not a penalty

Holding is holding whether it is called or not called. Just look at the 2009 season and 5 games into the 2010 season. Bama was not called for a single holding penalty for 15 1/2 games. That is impossible. During the Ole Miss/ Bama game this year the Left Tackle for Bama blocked the DE on a scoring play by applying a Standing Kimura Lock ( during second quarter if memory serves correct) There was an official standing right behind this instance and no call. This is not only holding but can also injure a player. SEC officials are as bad as the the NFL replacement officials when it comes to calling a game equally for both sides.

I am not saying that Bama's players do not execute well, they do and their running backs follow their lead blocks with great consistency ( Michael Ford would do good to take notes on this since he has not taken notes from Jeremy Hill, Alfred Blue or Spencer Ware this season) . They are also not flagged for the excessive personal fouls that LSU is flagged for ( LSU can control this flaw in their game).

However I am sure if someone took time to compile the data I am confident that they would find that over the last 4 years Bama has had less Holding and Blocks in the Back penalties than any other SEC program.
