I am pessimistic, because last year the LSU media (youtubers, espn guys) missed on LSU last year.

They whiffed the offense was really bad. Like the Harvard transfer QB hatch bad, the Anthony Jennings bad days of lsu.

I'm trying to be optimistic.

Defense should be similar to last year imo. Which is good enough win you alot of games. Need to scheme for running QBS

BUT should score a lot of points, LANE and company have always done that.

So much unknown...

This team could go 8-4 or they could 10-2, 11-1 i don't know

NIL has opened the door for more teams to join the party if they have the money. Without NIL Indiana could never win a NC in football. It still comes down to the have's and have nots. The transfer portal still needs some guardrails; I still think that is the biggest detriment currently to the sport.

creative username. The point is that it is harder to predict what teams will do in the modern era.

Hate it for Nuss but without LSU facepplanting last season, Kelly is probably still here, and we also don't have Will Wade.

Garrett Nussmeier tyfys.

The transfer portal is a much bigger problem than NIL. Every single year is wide open free agency for your whole roster. Something has to be changed there.

Biggest thing with NIL in my opinion is there's no cap on incoming Freshman. There needs to be something in place just like the rookie contracts in the NFL.

Other that that, if you ball out so hard at the college level that other schools are willing to pay you insane money, then it's deserved.

This is a major Reason Saban retired. His advantages at Bama were evaporating quickly
