Who has LSU EXPOSED this year?????
We beat MSU by 22
We beat Bama when people like you said we would get destroyed. Who has TCU beat besides Utah (and Utah would have 5 loses in the SEC this year).

So, LSU should schedule Tulane, ULL, LA Monroe, etc., destroy them all, and that will make us legit?
Here's the real deal with the schedules of TCU and Boise:
If our schedule were UNC, WVU and then 10 of our normal rent-a-wins (ULM, ULL, La Tech, etc.) THEN we would have a comparable schedule to those guys.
I haven't watched TCU. I have seen Boise. Without a playoff though...
... to non-BCS conference teams!

This all could have been resolved last year, but the BCS passed on it. Instead of putting TCU and BSu against an upper tier oppenent in the bowl game they put them against each other, in my opionion to save face for this year. Florida last year in the sugar bowl would have destroyed either of these teams. Pitting the two teams agains each other last year is what allowed them to be ranked so high again this year.

I can't believe we're having this dicussion about who is better, LSU or TCU. If 10 SEC schools had TCU's schedule this year they would all be undefeated.

NEWSFLASH! THE TRANSITIVE PROPERTY DOES NOT APPLY IN COLLEGE FOOTBALL
case in point (this year alone)
LSU 16 Tennessee 14
Alabama 41 Tennessee 10
LSU 24 Alabama 21
-----
LSU 29 MSU 7
Auburn 17 MSU 14
LSU 17 Auburn 24
-----
There are a myriad of other examples! I don't doubt TCU is a very fine squad...but at the same time it's hard to give them credit when they play in a very weak conference. Give us a play off!

I agree. Their butts get beet red whenever someone questions how good they are. Little man (irrelevent) syndrome.

Here is my problem with teams like tcu. Could they beat lsu in a game? Sure they are a good team and are well coached.
Here is the rub though. Could they compete week in and week out in the sec and I say no way. Last week lsu lost three starters to injury in one game and was able to plug in our depth and still beat Alabama. That also brings our key injuries for the year to 6 or so guys. To compete in our league you must have quality depth because it is so physical every week.
Now there is no way I think tcu or boise or could play week in and week out with the sec's physical nature and not have injuries. Once the injury bug hit those teams I venture to say they would lose a game or two no question. I especially think this if the injuries were at key positions like guard, tackle, d end, cornerback, and safety.
Can they beat an sec team? Yes. Could they go undeafted in the Sec ( with big time road games, and fight injuries) I say no way.

Their OL and DL (where championships start) are as good or better than any in the nation.
See that's the things. They look great I will give you that but look at what kind of teams they look great against. It's really hard to say how good they are when they play such crappy teams every week and at the very most face teams several weeks apart that are as good as the 5th or 6th best teams in the SEC in Utah and Baylor.

That's just pathetic when your two biggest wins of the year is against Baylor and Utah.

It is even more pathetic when you look at the wins after the two biggest wins of the year.

They might be that good. The limited chances they're had to prove it, they generally have - even over recent years.
However, the only way I can see a "fair" way to let them at the table is to have a playoff.
If TCU or Boise are in, say, an 8 or 16 team playoff and they beat Nebraska, Auburn, and Oregon, give 'em all the props in the world. Their regular season schedule doesn't matter at that point.

When was the last time LSU destroyed someone regardless of the opponents caliber?
29-7 against a good Mississippi State team is a pretty good beat down.

I never said they could compete week in and week out vs. the SEC. I said they are good team that could beat LSU. And the STUPID unknowledgeable BLIND LSU homers on here DON'T understand this.

No one is saying they could not beat LSU in a one off game. Penalties, turnovers, tipped balls. shite can happen and TCU is decent enough to win a game against LSU if they get the breaks. shite, ask Tennessee.
What LSU fans are saying, and what anyone who knows anything about football, is that TCU is only where they are because they have played no one. Their 9-0 record is a mirage. If they played our schedule, they would have 2, maybe 3 losses. Because doing it week in and week out against top athletes is really freakin hard to do. TCU doesn't have to do that.
This is not that hard to understand.

A number of guys on this forum who claim to have all the answers and no faith in the LSU football team.

It is a game played by 18-21 year olds and on any given day (with some good luck) any low ranking or non-ranked team can take down a top ranked opponent.
The question is not whether it can be done once but whether it can be done multiple times during a season and have the horses to compete in each and every game - probability will take over at that point and the losses will begin.
So yes - TCU can beat LSU one week - but if they were to play 8 times in 8 weeks (history/stats have shown that) chances are very high in LSU's favor.

and stupid fricks like you think this is enough to get them into a NC game - they don't deserve to get in with the schedule they have played

If they are unbeaten and The Ducks or AU losses a game. They should be in.
