seriously though, it' not a matter of a secret playbook, it's a matter of WHAT PLAYS are called. i see no deception at all from coach miles. HE TOLD US ON TV that they were going back to basics with JJ and he did just that. i offer up the vandy game as proof that it was needed. did he go too conservative? i'll let 29-7 answer that. WE WERE NOT PLAYING ALABAMA. JJ will be asked to do more when it is needed. i will also say that there really is a secret playbook, or at least a book of "trick" plays. miles has used them when needed in the past and will again if he thinks our team can execute them. if you use 'em before you need 'em the other team prepares for them.

nope. that's called practice and they do it 5 days a week already. this team can throw the ball good enough just like bama did last year. i just wish we were a little better running the ball. we've improved, just not good enough yet.

I never said they were sandbagging against UNC..... I mean this as an approach to playcalling in general...

Were they sandbagging against UNC, yes in the second half. What almost bit LSU in the arse is overconfidence in the D that first game.... they got burned, but damn, its the FIRST GAME.... where the D slipped up week 1, they won't again late in a game

the game was in hand... run the ball, kill the clock, take the W...... what they can't predict is the fumble coming from ridley... minus that, it's a great game ending drive

you can not compare, with any consideration of the facts, the years prior to this with this one. They didnt not have the LUXURY to do this before.... you cant sling the ball around with no D against fla or ala before, because if we did turn it over, its going to be hell to pay..... i bet theres a lot more confidence in this D.. ya think?
