Fwiw the mics were right in front of the student section
So that makes it right to chant that?

I like it, sorry. I think it's funny.
Classy. Let me know when you have kids, and I'll chant it in front of them.

To be fair, the band OBVIOUSLY has no problem with the students saying it. The proof is in the pudding since they chose to play Neck more times yesterday than they have EVER played it.

Yea guess you're right - I retract
Posted on 11/7/10 at 10:19 pm to The Mick
Then go start chanting it in front of them.

I've already conceded sir
Posted on 11/7/10 at 10:20 pm to slackster
Yea and didn't they already threaten to ban it? Because this has been a problem before Bama with the chant.

It makes it seem louder than what it really is.

You can hardly make it out sitting in other sections at the stadium. And whoever said football games were G rated?

You obviously did not go to a game in 2007. They played it at least 6 times in the Florida game alone. They played it 3 times, at most, yesterday.

You think were the only school that the SS says something vulgar?

Ok..I will play...whoever said football games should contain X-rated language?

Exactly. It has never been more clear in the stadium than it was yesterday, but it did not stop the band from playing it all day. They obviously like it. In fact, while I thought they were going to play "Touchdown LSU" throughout the 4th quarter, they stuck with Neck. Weird.

You can barely make it out sitting outside the SS. And seriously, the word "dick" is really that bad?

LMAO. I was at both games. They played Neck a ton, especially when I thought we would get a heavy dose of "Touchdown LSU" in the 4th quarter.
Look, I don't think the student section should chant it. "You Suck" was significantly less rude, yet it was banned. FWIW, I think "All I Do Is Win" is quickly becoming a fan favorite and will take the place of "Neck", IMO.

I am speechless. It is just too hard to come up with an answer to such an ignorant question.

make sure you let yours out of that little bubble.

Yeah, because keeping my 5-7 year old daughter from hearing "suck that dick, bitch" is keeping her in a bubble.
