Not really, without Fulton coming back there were plenty of question marks in the secondary since there wasn't a lot of experience.
If you combine that with a lackluster offense, a coach with no accolades that qualified him for an LSU HC position, and an OC who didn't even want the job, 5 losses isn't much of a stretch to the people outside of the fanbase.
LSU has had enough talent to avoid 5 losses every season since 2000.

Here's another one that was also preseason that I'm sure is disappointed. This was the OP but is not the first post in the thread. This is about exactly half way down the 1st page.
If he felt this way last year why would he feel any different right now.
