though, if LSU were smart, they'd build a parking GARAGE
...not enough room for a parking garage... between the tracks, the apartments, the light, and nicholson dr. ... and that corner is a VERY busy corner, all the time, not just during games, so getting in and out of a parking garage would be hell... I think, pretty sure actually, that a parking garage is going to be built further down skip bertman dr., more toward the river... where getting in and out of a garage will be much easier, AND where it will not block any views of Tiger Stadium!!...

dude, are you in charge of the botched demolition or what?
don't take it personal
the place has looked like complete crap all FB season at least
are you saying the "valuable" stuff was left in there until 6 mo ago? don't think so. It was moved out, along with the furniture, trophies, assets, etc.
The site has been a dump for several months & that's inexcusable IMO.
If you don't agree, fine.

sorry
none of that stuff has been there for a while
the fences have been falling down for a long time
do you think they would have left that "valuable" stuff there to be stolen?

Were sold/are being sold on the website.
The actual fence was up until the distance markers were cut out. The only part that was falling down was the top that read "The nations leader in college baseball attendance" which fell during the straight line winds from last year.

6 months =/= quite some time IMO.
ETA: Hell I bought an item off the website about 2 months ago and they didn't take it down from the site for another 2 weeks.

Can you guys tell the difference?

Yes.
The epithet "OLD" is thrown around all over TD like it's the absolute worst, most despicable thing ever.

I passed it today... it will never be ready in time for baseball season.

Yeah..I wish LSU would have at least cleared the property by now. It is a darn shame that the venerable ole stadium is a rat infested catastrophe. But I think LSU is working on plans to redevelop that whole area including the housing next door to be something very nice with business outlets.
like CON-struction, DE-construction has its procedures and permitting to go through. Asbestos demo takes time among many other things.
