If Texas doesn't win it on the hardwood this year, next year in NO may be the one, Barnes and UT will eventually win one. They are clearly one of the two best teams in the country this year..by far!

I think Texas is about to shatter records that may never be broken in terms of playing for titles.

Texas loses to LSU in Omaha..Texas loses to Bama in Pasadena..I think they play for it all in Indy's Final Four..I think they again play for it in Omaha this summer..I think they are capable of playing for it again the following Football and Hoops and Baseball seasons, with young contributing stars on all three rosters.

Coming off playing for the last two mens majors, at minimum, I make Texas the NCAA Co-Hoops chalk this season, and small favorites over LSU and Rice, CSF, Fla(yes..gonna be a real player this summer), etc..on the basepath.

Kentucky Hoops better improve by leaps and bounds if they intend to for the SEC to win a third straight mens major NCAA crown vs Texas(or Kansas)..in keeping up with All-Time SEC National Title Kings LSU Baseball and Bama Football.

I think Texas wins the 2010 Hoops and Baseball crowns, to get a split of playing for an amazing four straight mens majors national titles.

I still think LSU can have a really good team in two years from now. Maybe the final four is a bit of a stretch, but I can hope.

Last years team could have gotten there if they'd been placed in any of the other brackets IMO. Next years team will contend for the West and by the following year could be looking to dance long into the night.

they were solid, but i dont think they were a final four team. they did prove that an 8 seed was way too low for them. should have played UNC in elite eight IMO.
