Joe Torre always sat on the bench looking like he was chewing ice or taking a dump. Not much you can do when your team doesn't show up.

As long as they are 18, don’t see an issue.

CPM's height has nothing to do with anything. He's a good man, and "WAS" a great coach. Unfortunately the game has passed him by. I really hope we get swept by MSU, Vandy, Arkansas, Ole Miss , and Woodward gives him an office job. We get a younger coach who can recruit better pitching.

Paul is starting to have that “just happy to be here” vibe and it’s rubbing off on his team.

Don’t the players talk about knowing their goal is Omaha every year?

Talking about it and believing it are completely different animals.

Believing something into reality was something Skip taught. He was the master at getting good players to believe they were great and okay players to believe they were really good. They eventually became what they believed they were. It was beautiful.

The point is that the “LSU standard” of going to Omaha is instilled by the coach. There’s nothing that he says or does that indicates he’s “just happy to be here”.

The team has too much talent and Mainieri has too much baseball knowledge for this team not to do well. The team would have to really suck for the AD to replace him. We really should wait until we see what we actually do this year before we judge. That being said, every Coach has an expiration date and I will not be disappointed when we move on.

Yeah, and he will prob get his chance at LSU and is really a perfect fit.

He just needs to be smarter.

It’s usually people that talk like this from the safety of a keyboard that are the actual pathetic excuse of a man
