This will be the most athletic LSU team in a long time.

And that will make us potentially competitive in any game we play.

Can't wait to see what we can get out of these kids. Might be like the old days with Kentucky coming in here with their 6 McDonald's AA's and the one's returning (if any) from last year.

JJ is gonna have this program at a top 20 level year in and year out at least by 2014, possibly as soon as this season. He will leave no stone unturned when it comes to recruiting, which is what we really needed as a head basketball coach at LSU.

Getting Craig Victor this year, which would mean back to back top players from LA, will go a long way towards locking down the state.

Exciting times ahead

Dont forget about Darcy Malone, a legit 7 footer, that has a nice touch and plays above the rim. Only 3 SEC teams return 7 footers that played- Auburn, Alabama, and Kentucky. While he may or may not be as good as them, that allows JOB3 to be guarded by a player usually around the same height but 20-30lbs lighter atleast. While ADP may not have done much at times just his size caused matchup problems.

You're forgetting about Odah. He will be LSU's 5 next year, bumping JOB back down to a true 4. Odah may not be much of an offensive threat, but he should rebound and defend the post, giving JOB a little more freedom from 6-12 ft out, which is where he wants to play anyway.

5 – Odoh/OBryant/Malone
4 – Martin/Obryant/Mickey
3 – Mickey/Coleman
2 – Stringer/Quarterman
1 – Quarterman/Hickey

In reality though, Mickey can play 3, 4, or 5 and Martin can play 4 or 5 just like OBryant. That is a nasty, nasty lineup with length, athleticism, size, hops, and DEPTH! OBryant coming back will be huge.

I'm thinking jj has us on a Michigan type path. We should make tourny next year an then make a nice run after that. I'm glad to see tiger basketball back an exciting

Yea there is no way O'Bryant isn't starting. Same with Hickey. There will be situations where that lineup is possible and yes, it would be athletic, but no way that lineup is a normal occurrence.

not meant starting honestly. That was just the rotation I see. I wasn't picking starters. I think Hickey will no doubt start.

It's gonna be Stringer/Morgan at the 2.

Quarterman/Hickey/Collins at the 1.

Mickey/Coleman/Hammink at the 3.

The rest you got right, except JOB gonna start.

I swear lsu gone look like the clippers and heat next year. Just wait until hickey pushing the ball with Tim jerel and Mickey running the floor. We about to be mainstay in espn top 10.

I think this is gonna be the "3 deep"

1. Hickey - Quarterman
2. Stringer - Morgan - Collins
3. Mickey - Coleman - Hammink
4. JOB - Martin - Courtney
5. Odo - Malone

There's a good chance that Malone red shirts. In that case, You'd see a lot of Mickey, Martin, and JOB all on at once. Mickey can play 3-5 while I think Martin and JOB are limited to 4-5. Martin could possibly play 3 but he is a much bigger guy who will likely play 4 but get the ball around the perimeter occasionally.
