Whatever. I would much rather make the superregional and get embarrassed than lose in the regional and not even get a chance to play Ole Miss.
By losing in the the regional round this year's LSU club underperformed even CPM's swan song.

Look Jay Johnson did one Hell of a job this year winning 40 games with a weak pitching staff. He complimented USM and correctly said LSU did not match up with USM on the mound. JJ is already in the Portal getting Pitchers. LSU needs several good Pitchers among other things.
