I guess $40/year is not too bad. I just hope the plate looks good.

The plate will have Toonces over LSU, which is what LSU is pushing on Texas. That is what they proposed in Georgia, too. You can see the Georgia plate at the Altanta alumni site, which you can find on Google.

I'll take one for the truck, car and boat as well. Since the boat is already named the Tiger Bait it would just be appropriate to slap the correct plate on... YOUARE on the plate and across the boat it reads TIGER BAIT

I saw a designer Texas plate today and I think our LSU symbol will be bigger than the Georgia plate because the left side is completely taken up by whatever you want there and the text is smaller to the right of the picture.

I had the same sentiment at first. However, I think this design is coming from LSU. I am not really sure the what and why of it, but I am pretty sure there is noting that can be done about it.

I'll take one. I don't care what's on it as long as it's LSU and all these Big 12 freaks have to look at it.

While I fully support the complete abolishment of toonces, most LSU fans and 99% of other teams' fans do not even give it a second thought.

In this football state, UT and A&M folks will mainly just see those three letters and think of the recent championships, great fans, and our football talent level, while hoping that Les Miles is the bafoon that they keep telling themselves he is.

When they have the information on how to sign up, there will be a prominent posting on Tigerdroppings.com. Stay tuned.

40 bucks is not too bad, but I am concerned the cost may be more. The Aggies will not be pleased about allowing LSU plates...

When I went to look at the TXDOT website at other universities it looks like a $70 first time fee and then $30/year in addition to your usual registration. But, they might charge more since it is an out of state university.
