Looking for a family friendly place to pregame before the game. Needs to be walkable to stadium. Would also like a way to be able to drive in and out relatively easily (will have wife and baby that need to get get out right before game time).

I know that the setup next to the stadium, Bevo Blvd? is family friendly

There will probably be better answers but look around Manor east of 35. There are some good family places there and walkable to stadium, plus there should be free street parking and easy for wife to get out.

thanks. Good suggestion.

Are you talking about the section where The Haymaker and Salty Sow are located?

Yep.

There are a few more places where Duval meets San jacinto like Posse, São Paulo ( good Brazilian, not Steakhouse), and Double Daves but it may be a younger crowd and parking could be tough

Scholz Beer Garden on San Jacinto. Don't worry about parking meters - just pay the $25 ticket for expired meter because garages are expensive, mostly booked, and gridlocked getting out of

Had the same question tonight. Moved to Austin last year, wanna tailgate and party downtown before the game. Doesn't have to be family friendly.

Thinking of going at like 6am for Gameday but will need stuff to do after that.
