Of course it matters...it was joke about sec bowl losses(uga, bama) havent seen lsu pull it

But yes if texas wins out and beats ou twice we are in....cfp is about $$$ and texas would bring $$$

If they let tcu play first year or left ou out when we beat them then i would be worried but they dont and wont so all we have to do is win

Regular season games and bowl games are very different. I guess I'm still not seeing the joke.

Goodnight Dallas21... hope to run into you sometime in the Omaha area and have beer over both teams making the 2019 playoffs.

I'm sure the answer you are looking for is because they were bowl games and didn't mean anything.

Well, they're is some truth to that. Not saying that is the only reason, but you would be dumb to deny that.

Again, regular season games mean a hell of a lot more, and this loss could easily affect your chances of getting in the playoffs. So your joke really doesn't make sense.

Well again, I think the game matters a ton. Y'all aren't getting in over Clemson or the big10 champ. And if LSU and bama finish ahead of you you may not get ahead of either. It's a long season and maybe it won't matter, but this puts you in a bad spot even if you win out.

There are a lot of TV's in Texas. Don't fool yourself, that matters.

Sure it does.

Do you think they are getting in over bama if they lose one more?

Are they getting in over us if we lose one?

I'm not saying there's no way the do, but to act like that game doesn't matter is silly.

Well, it's certainly not optimal but most years there are spots to be claimed for a 1-loss conference champ.
