I pitch about the new seatback design they introduced last year every game. They came back with the same ones this year, I still complain every game about them - obviously to no avail.

FYI - SEC rules require that the band seats (if the band comes) are in the lower stadium. When LSU's band was in the upper deck in Austin in 2019, Texas was not in the SEC and those rules did not apply.
SEC rules provide that a minimum allotment of 5,000 tickets for visitors, with at least 2,000 of those seats located in the lower level of the stadium.
At least 1,000 of the visiting team's tickets must be grouped together inside a single continuous block.

Austin and Nashville are larger, but depending upon how you calculate the metro area BR may be 3rd.
It's not a big deal at Vandy because the stadium is small and no one goes to the game. But LSU's problem is size combined with the stadium location. The west is limited by the river. East of the stadium is all of the campus buildings with smaller surface streets and a lake. North is a path to the interstate, but it is congested by a neighborhood. South is the most "open" path. But that is a lot of people trying to go in one direction.
The only way to truly do something is that starting mid-way through the 4th Quarter and lasting until at least 1.5 - 2 hours after the end of the game, no traffic is allowed into campus within a 5-10 mile radius. That means starting at S. Stadium, Nicholson is all contra-flow south to Bluebonnet and North to downtown (depending upon which way your turn) From the corner of Skp Bertman and River road you can either turn right or left, but whichever way you go is all contraflow either to downtown (north) or to at least Farr Park (sought)

I'm hearing that Texas wants to bring their full band to Tiger Stadium, but I seriously doubt that they're going to allow 400 of their best seats to be taken by their band.

Is this still the case? I have some friends who went to the Ole Miss game in Oxford and they said that LSU's seats were scattered all over the place.

The concessions are bad enough, but what makes the experience even worse is the lack of TVs around the concession areas and throughout the concourse. I sit in the north end zone, which is basically the third world of the stadium, so the concessions are always crowded and the food options are terrible. What I cannot understand is why LSU refuses to install TVs throughout the concession areas so fans can at least watch the game while waiting in line for mediocre food.
For big games, the wait can easily exceed 30 minutes, meaning you can miss a significant portion of the game just trying to get food. Considering how inexpensive TVs are these days, it is both inexcusable and incomprehensible for LSU not to have TVs throughout the stadium, especially around the concession areas. If you are going to make fans wait 30+ minutes for food, the least you can do is let them watch the game while they wait.

Your friend didn't tell you correctly. I was at the LSU game in Oxford. All of LSU's visitor tickets were in the lower bowl in 4 different sections. The visitor sections in Sections L, K, S and S1. Ole Miss doesn't have upper levels with seating.
Also, if UT does bring its entire band, they will be located in the lower bowl in the southeast endzone, just like the Aggie band was this past weekend. Yes, UT would be giving up prime visitor seats.

I have gotten the same survey every week for years and I fill it out every week.
To be honest, I thought the game-day experience was not bad at all.
Anytime there are 102,000 people in the same building trying to all leave at the same time, there will be some traffic. This year I was able to switch parking lots to one that is much more friendly to my exit direction. It is actually very pleasant to not have to wait until contraflow ends to leave.
As far as concessions go, I see the same system implemented in most other stadiums and it works marvelously. The only problem with LSU’s implementation, is that they simply don’t have the space for adequate cashiers. There’s nothing you can do about space in the stadium at this point. I typically get a sausage dog..,,which was great!
