Terrence Cody VS T-Bob: Who You Got?

I got a gallon of Pepto-Bismol to soothe my stomach, and two gallons of Captain Morgan's to soothe my nerves.

That, I think, is the one glaring mismatch to Bama's advantage.

Here are Fat Cody's Stats so far this season:

Va Tech: 1 solo tackle
FLA INT: 2 solo tackles,2.5 tackles for loss(5 yards)
N. TEX:3 solo tackles,1 tackle for loss(3 yards)
ARKANSAS: 1 solo tackle
KENTUCKY: 1 solo tackle
OLE MISS: 1 QB hurry
S. CAROLINA: 2 solo tackles,1.5 tackle for loss(2 yards)
TENNESSEE: 0 solo tackles,2 assisted tackles, 2 blocked FG's

Looks to me like Cody is over rated. Those stats aren't that great. T-Bob can handle that Fatt arse.

Is he getting double teamed? or does he just sit there and plug

He is.

No they are not. But his mass causes opponents to double team him or run the ball away from the middle.

No he can't.

Will repeat, he is a space eater, nothing more.

He does what he is supposed to do in Bama's scheme. Every time you have to double him it leaves 1 other person unblocked.

Cody. Though I will say I was worried about Helms against him last year, and we schemed around him and actually ran the ball pretty well. If only we'd been more judicious throwing the ball...

You gotta think his numbers are low because the other teams are thinking just like us, and running sweeps and off tackle to avoid him.

T-Bob is improving. Cody may win but he will know he was in a battle.

Cody can't go more than 2 plays in a row, so as long as we don't go three and out, he'll stay out the game most of the time b/c of his fatassyness

T-Bob is just really learning the position. Cody will eat him up but we will double team him and run Scott hard.

Punch him in the nuts on the first play from scrimmage.

Hopefully they will notice that Javier Arenas is 5'9 and Kareem Jackson is 5'11 going up against Toliver who is 6'5 and Lafell/Randle who are 6'3.

Huge matchup for us

Just what I thought, the media loves him and yet is overrated. He will only play on 1st and 2nd down, he can't last if he plays 3 downs every series. Cody will be huffing and puffing in the 4th quarter.

Cody and it's not even close. The guy is a house and T-Bob can't block a single-wide. Maybe they can coach him up on a Cody beating technique. God, I hope so...
