Without knowing where you are staying or any or info- I would for sure go to a restaurant. They’ll almost for sure have food.

If you are taking wives, let me know. I want to party.

Calhoun's is sort of like their Walk-Ons. Food is average, but right near campus and great views on the water. Will be a fun place to mix with Vols and LSU fans. Calhoun's on the River
Market Square is pretty cool too. Some really nice eating and drinking places downtown. Short Uber drive from campus. You can't go wrong with Tupelo Honey for good food Tupelo Honey. Stock and Barrel is the popular burger joint there. Stock and Barrel. Blue Coast Grill is a nice place for drinks. Blue Coast Grill

Are you Mormon, or Muslim?
I take it you prefer an establishment that doesn't serve liquor.

Are y'all what is considered "open"?
I like the Knox Mason, but I rarely go for the extravagant.

Calhoun's 17th
There's a party at Calhoun's for the LSU travel group the Friday before the game. Not sure if it's open or private. I definitely want to go to Stock and Barrel at some point.

Barbeque in east Tennessee sucks, so don't go that route.

Tupelo Honey started in Asheville and has expanded to Knoxville and few other cities. Great food.
