Tenn Baseball will do the same thing A&M did to keep guys from transferring

They will most likely stay in house and hire unproven Josh Elander. He has been a hot name for smaller jobs. They don’t want the talent to leave and most of these kids are loyal to Josh.

He's more qualified to take over Tennessee than Earley was at A&M.

He's been handling a lot of the day-to-day running of the program stuff and has been the recruiting coordinator as well.

A role more similar to what Nolan Cain had on that A&M staff that Earley was the hitting coach on.

Kendall Rogers said that anyone who transfers will not be eligible to play the 2026 season, so I don't think that will be as big of a problem as you think.

Why is this? I thought players were always allowed to transfer after a coaching change?
