He was good as a TE, but I know Peterson can handle him. I'm just saying, he was impressive last week, looked very athletic.

Oh he's a bad mofo, but is primarily a TE and then when you add the fact that pretty much all our WRs are gone, it's easy to just try to handle him and not worry about the other ones.

I asked earlier in the thread but no one answered, what was the deal with two WRs just up and quitting the team?

The word out of the locker room is that neither of those guys were team guys and that when things got tough (because our offense has been the definition of pathetic), they bailed. Tuminello quit after a big win against Hawaii and Linwood quit after his break-out game. PT wasn't the issue.

I was concerned that it was a major problem and that the team might be quitting on the coach, but that hasn't happened. We've fought really hard that last 3 games...just don't have the horses to get it done.

I've never seen a Tech team as thin as this one is and I've been watching for a while.

Apparently the two had crappy attitudes. The other WRs actually seemed to play better once those two were gone. Other than them both being crybabies or whatever, that's really all we've heard about that from the administration and the North Louisiana media.

My friend who loves La Tech said they had their 4th string starter at Safety due to injuries and etc. He said there was a walk-on playing at WR because of injuries to the team.

Correct! I was originally looking forward to this finally being a good game with LSU earlier this season, but this pretty much assures the massive beatdown. Oh well, Go Dawgs anyway!

I don't think Shep is even running with the 2's at QB this week, I believe McCartney is. (not to say he's getting no QB reps, I think just his usual Toonces stuff)
