Actually, there was a recent poll on one of Bama's message boards.....and LSU was at the top of MANY of posters' lists. Say what you want but most Bama fans DO hate LSU.
I can attest to that living in Birmingham. Some of my really good friends here are Bama fans. That being said, the venom that your fanbase has to ours rivals that of your hatred for Auburn.

cant speak for a pig's exp, but ive been to LSU/bama games in Tusca, for the past 5 yrs, i look forward to that trip more than any in the sec...

SEC West- Bama, the gumps just get a little too full of themselves; SEC East- Florida- I don't like Urban Meyer, & Fla. is starting to load up on thugs. Nation- Thug U. & Convict U.- Miami & Fla. St. along with Hollywood/ESPN USC, Notre Damned, & oh hell, toss in Texas & OU as well. I also have never forgotten how Neb. used to run it up on hapless teams back in the day, so throw them in there too. Last, but not least- Michigan, it's about time they felt what the other side felt like. How about one more losing season for Michigan?? That's it, I think I have listed all my most hated teams for now...

BamaTiger, it may seem that way to you but our comments regarding LSu have been regarding the jealousy spewed at us concerning our hiring of Saban.
I certainly understand your feelings but there have been too many personal attacks on the people here in AL when we never hired Saban to stick it to LSu but to resume playing decent football. LSU's feelings were never a topic of discussion, winning was.
As far as our biggest rivalry, sorry but LSu is a notch above Ole Miss. Auburn, never, ever will be replaced. We have to live with these folks and vice versa. Families are split down the middle, marriages, co-workers, everything is mixed. We dislike the way LSU fans act toward those of us who have done nothing to you.
We hate Auburn because they are here. They are in state. They are our uncles and aunts and we have to see them at holidays and pretend we dont care to beat their arse. You , at best will be third on our list and it is a distant third. Also, LA is just too far away to have much inter-mingling. Sorry, you guys need to get A&M back on your schedule. that was a pretty good thing there. There never was a problem with us until we hired Saban and as I said, I never expected it to be but whatever you feel, you feel. I know, I just dont feel like saying. Hurt is a terrible thing, one day he'll leave Bama and your life can resume.

Sorry Bayside. We'll have to agree to disagree. I've lived in Alabama for the last 12 years...before Saban coached at LSU or Bama. I've lived on the coast and in B-ham and in my experience, the Bama hatred for LSU/Auburn runs deep. You can try to justify yourselves (we're just responding to LSU fans' reactions to Saban.) Please....that excuse is old. I actually can't stand Auburn's at a team more than Bama, but Bama fans are farrrr worse in my book. And they have been for as long as I can remember.

My dislike for Bama goes beyond Saban. That just added fuel to the fire, but I have always been anti-Tide since I was a kid and saw them come into Baton Rouge and walk away with a win every other year. It was too much to take.
As far as rivalries go, Yes LSU does need a permanent #1 rival. It was Tulane in the old days when they were in the SEC, but now, you're right. Even if the A&M rivalry started again, its not like we would replace the Horns as their #1 rival.
We just need to flare up some antimosity toward the Hogs!!

No doubt Notre Dame! The most overrated overhyped team of all time. Bama second just because like Notre Dame they too have made up titles and when they were dominant it was because they were cheating their butts off.
