Sure, there's some great guys demonstrating some great leadership skills but there's not a solid sense of ONE person you can look at who has it all together.

Kelvin Sheppard is the undisputed leader of this team.

How do you know this? Are you a player? Do you have some deep inside information?

Does anyone? Seriously? It's all conjecture and personal observations, which is obviously very varied on all ends of the spectrum.

He's definitely the defensive leader, I'll give you that. But our D totally has it together. I'd like to see the same thing happen with our coaches and O players.

I really feel that JJ was showing great leadership a few years ago when he first stepped in. (Chik Fil A Bowl esque) It would be nice to see the same thing come up again soon.

i am not worried about the defensive side of the ball. on offense we desperately need someone to take control.

LSU's Sheppard mum on players' meeting
quote:

BATON ROUGE — One of the hottest topics here Sunday was word of an LSU football players-only meeting called by senior middle linebacker and team captain Kelvin Sheppard.
"We haven't had one yet, but we're supposed to have one," said sophomore defensive end Chancey Aghayere on Monday afternoon. "I'm not sure when it's going to be. But it's not like he doesn't call them all the time. We've had a few already. We had one after the North Carolina game and a couple of other ones."

They haven't said anything to the public and that is the way is should be

I totally agree. However, it was a shame that it had to come to that.

Well I've been Negative Nancy all week long, but after reading this, I can't wait for Saturday.

This is the 1st time since 2007 I've seen an LSU team possess anything remotely resembling Team Leaders. May be sipping the Kool-Aid here, but there seems to be a storm brewing in Death Valley. Us against the world.
