Chris Johsnon playing good too!
the actually surprises me because it doesn;t appear as if he's added much weight to his 6'11 frame. he used to get abused down low in college with guys who had some meat to them. if he didn't get a block, he wasn't able to stop most of the better post guys. i wonder how much his defense has improved since college. but 17 ppg, that's awesome, good for him

Yea he played in a couple games for the Blazers last week, so happy to see him still playing ball. I too didnt think he'd make it anywhere becuase of his lack of physicality but hell he's made it to the 10 day contract, good for him.

Wow...I don't remember Darnell putting up anywhere near 20 pts while he was here.

meh, he doesn't get enough credit for the game he had against Duke. He had 10 first half points that we NEEDED(he only finished the game with 10, but that was huge)

Yeah it was huge with all the foul trouble we were having

Thats where he stands out and gets all the credit when his name is brought up to me, dude was taking it to Sheldon Williams. He was always real fundamentally sound and had a good bball IQ but would always seem hesitant and nervous when he got on the floor.

i think Taz can be just as valueable as Quincy.
Totally agree. I think Tasmin is undervalued because he is not a flashy player. But his fundamentals are solid and he has an all-around game. I hope some NBA team gives him a chance soon!

Tasmin played throughout college as if he were a "crafty NBA veteran" in my opinion. He knew exactly what he could get away with.
He wasn't a dirty player, per se, but he did hold a lot and pushed off a lot...so I guess he was a dirty player. But it isn't a foul if they don't blow the whistle, right?

i wouldn't say that, but with him playing below the rim and playing the 4 at 6'7", he had to use his body and technique to be as productive as he was, and he knew how to use his body to get away with being undersized. his mid-range game was unreal.

Lazare was always surrounded by better big men at LSU. He was always a solid role player, but never stepped into the star role. He is putting up better numbers in the D-League than he did at LSU.
