I thought Tanner Reaves played well in this regional. Didn’t play much over the past few weeks and came in and made some nice defensive plays. He even hit the ball well despite not having much to show for it. Tonight, hit one that almost went out and last night had the shot that ended up being a double play.

He even had a productive strikeout

Braswell has been a mess the last month. This switch was overdue.

Had two swings tonight that were both a couple feet from homers. Probably earned himself a start this weekend.

Reaves is a huge plus as a hitter…

It was LR for crying out loud. He will see better pitching next weekend and will be the same person as Braswell next weekend.

He has surprising pop. I thought he was going to run one out in the 8th. And his defensive play in the 8th was so clutch. He has to play every game this coming weekend.

If you truly think Reaves and Braswell are no different at the plate, you’re already too far gone.

Against good pitching they both suck

Against LR/Northern Alabama/North Dakota St slight edge to Reaves

Reaves should have been starting the entire season

If you really think Reaves can hit good pitching there really is no helping you. He was given plenty of chances to stick and he didn’t.

At least Braswell can play defense and bunt something Reaves cannot do
