what everyone discounts is emotion. College players are much more susceptible to emotional highs and lows than pro players.
A&M was feeling real good about themselves with their no. 4 playoff committee ranking. Going on the road to a team they should destroy - I'm sure they were emotionally flat and overlooked Miss State, who was emotionally jacked up.
And we saw the result.
Emotion is a huge component in college games. That's why we struggle so much with Arkansas - it's the week after Bama and we're emotionally spent. And when we have to go on the road, it makes it even worse.
I look for us to be flat this week, but hopefully can find a way to get it done.
