Tailgating

I've only been to a couple of games since graduating in '85. One was a homecoming reunion so we had a get together at our building on campus. The other was a bad season daytime game, so not too exciting around the stadium. I know there were a couple of food trucks in front of the assembly center at the game last year, but food options outside the stadium were very limited.
We will be going to a better night game this year. Are there any tailgate gatherings that are open to the public "by donation", or do you need to know someone and be invited in?

You can hang out by the PMAC. Plenty food available there, watch games inside in A/C, see team/band walk down hill, and see band inside.

You’ll be surprised how many offers you get to a join a tailgate while you’re walking around and throwing out “Geaux Tigers!”, conversation will strike up, and you’ll damn near be forced to fix a plate and visit awhile.

Thanks for the replies! That link is great, but my wife and I probably wouldn't get $70 a piece out of it since were not big drinkers (plus we'll have 2 first graders with us). I'm just hoping to get a sample of something good. We'll probably wander around and check them out.
We did the PMAC last year, but the food options weren't all that. It was the Arkansas game at 11 so maybe some options didn't show up. I'll definitely be there for the team walk and then go in for the band.
