tailgating in TTown

I am making the trip to TTown and have never been. Can anyone give any good places to tailgate or know where any LSU tailgates will be that wouldn't mind hosting a couple more fellow Tigers. Thanks

HATT had awesome tailgates there in 2003, 2005, and 2007. Too bad they broke up.

I think it used to be on the corner of Hackberry and University if I remember right...

If memory serves me right that location is correct. In 2007 we taigated just north of there but joined in. We are also looking for a place due to the fact we will be on a bus and you can't tailgate anywhere around there.

2007 was the most fun tailgate I have ever had, and it was such a simple tailgate. Pretty much all we had was beer there and just decided to stay by HATT all day. For about 4 hours straight we just stayed by the sidewalk high fiveing every LSU fan that passed and messing with every Bama fan. It seemed like we had all of LSU in that one spot. All of this led up to Bama's band passing through and getting Tiger Baited. Hopefully that day can be replicated this year, especially the winning part.

dont count on it, the turds in TTown ruined the whole game day experience when they got real greedy of the dollar. The college hired this douche bag Gene Hallman to re-map the traffic routes, tailgating experience on the quad. It really sucks now.

Um, I haven't noticed any changes since the "gameday experience" began. Tailgating on the quad hasn't suffered, and tailgating is still going on all over campus. I wonder if you've even been to Tuscaloosa in the past few seasons.

we used to setup in the lot across from the Bear Museum and the band practice grounds which is right there as well. I think that may have gotten sucked up in the Gameday Experience thing though. I'm going to check with some Bama friends this week to find out what is what. We also paid $10 to park at the Baptist Student Center in 03 which worked out well.

For sure 2 and could be four if a couple more tickets materialize. We just found a room for Friday and Saturday, so we'll be arriving Friday evening. Shoot me an email if y'all can help us out and we'll be glad to bring anything to help out.

Hallman really screwed everything up! Parking is a nightmare. The location on the corner of hackberry and university is a good spot, but you can no longer park there. The quad is your best spot, first come and first served. You can set up at 6pm on friday.

Parking at Baptist student center is now reserved parking. There is a large dayparking lot off of University by the rec fields for $10 now.

We're comin in from Georgia, too, and looking for the same thing (tailgate/parking space) We've got 3-4 cars and I'm bringing a tent, stove, etc. If you hit on anything can you post something? Tnx.

is that where they run the shuttles from, I think we parked there for the basketball game last year

Yes shuttles will be running from this parking lot to the quad.
