re: We be hosed

The sad part of this is we are a middle of the pack SEC team now. We'll be a bottom feeder if things proceed in the direction they are currently heading.

I hope they feel worse than I do because it impacts some of their lives way more than mine. Football is a release for me on the weekend from my daily grind, but I do realize the sun will rise in the east tomorrow and set in the west so you can take that shite somewhere else. I'll always pull for LSU, but I feel bad for the 85 guys we have on scholarships and all the walkons for giving their blood, sweat, and tears who aren't provided the opportunity to be the best they can be. Some will still move on and make millions in the NFL, but most will not and only have the memories of their time at LSU and a degree. They deserve better!
Roast me if you want

I am a long time lurker, but rarely post, but I am to the point I can't remain silent anymore. As a fan that pulls for LSU through thick and thin, I feel bad for our players that line up every Saturday and leave it all on the field to not be given a better opportunity for success. You can post all the stats you want about Les Miles being the winningest coach in the last 10 years all you want to,the fact is though he knows more about football than most of us posters, he is way behind the majority of the coaches we play week in and week out. Once again, post your stats if you want, but give any coach in the country the talent Les has had at LSU and I believe you can't find many that couldn't equal or exceed what he has done here. I believe he is truely a great person, but a mediocre coach and thats being polite. We can spew the we're young and wait until next year all we want, but as most of us know, it is just a lie we tell ourselves until next year comes and we continue to lose to inferior teams who pay less than half the money for better coaches. Go ahead and piss and moan and call me an idiot, but I'll still pull for LSU no matter what even though the Titanic is sinking.

I too have been reading all of the encouraging stories on here when I come on to check out new recipes. I reached 265 pounds and decided it's time to make a change. I started 2 weeks ago on my own plan (no atkins or weight watchers for me). I have tried to cut my calories to less than 1800 per day with less than 25g of fat and started walking some holes at the golf course after work. I allow myself a break on the weekend, however I still look to cut calories wherever possible (Bud light is my enemy). I have lost 9 pounds and see a big jump in energy since I started eating breakfast. Who knew? Anyway, just wanted to congratulate all of you who are working hard to improve your health and thank you for giving me the motivation through your stories to get on board as well!

I need help finding a 2010 black nike snap count polo

Tolliver,Randle and company need to be vocal
Posted by bayoubengal0026 on 9/26/10 at 10:43 am
If Miles is too stuborn to give Lee a shot, our wide receivers need to be vocal because their talents are wasting away with this crap we keep putting on the field week in and week out. Being a senior with millions on the line, I wish Tolliver would be more vocal about giving Lee a shot. He can't do worse than what we are seeing now and Tolliver's stock is dropping because we can't get him the ball other than a 2 yard pass hung out to dry over the middle on 3rd and long! :geauxtigers:
re: Think There Will Be Tix Available on the Street ?
Posted by bayoubengal0026 on 8/10/10 at 9:17 pm to Green Ram 2
There will be an abundance of tickets. If you don't want to pay the brokers, there are still some seats available through ticketmaster.com. Go to the Chick fil a kickoff classic webpage and click on the link. From there, you can view all the available sections for the number of tickets you need. I live in Georgia and have decided to wait until gameday. You should be able to find great seats for face or less. Good luck and Geaux Tigers

This was my first trip to Tuscaloosa, and I must say that other than the outcome of the game, the rest of the trip was great. We tailgated in the Boyscout lot so it was mostly LSU fans. I sat in section U3B row 2, and everyone in my section was friendly. Actually the lady behind me made the comment that the fans booing when T Bob went down made her sick. They never once were rude and shook my hand after the game was over. Maybe my experience was the exception to the rule, but I will definately make the trip again.

re: Hotel In Tuscaloosa
Posted by bayoubengal0026 on 10/29/09 at 3:32 pm to bryso
I got a room there on Tuesday as well for 85.99 with 2 doubles. Even if you don't get one when you call, they said that there will probably be more cancelations between now and next Wed. I tried calling and got a room in 2 days. I posted the number in a thread on the ticket exchange board if that will help you on the search. Good luck.

I just got one today at a motel 6 for 85 bucks on mcfarland blvd. If you call a few hotels each day from here until next Weds., there will be some cancelations. Also there were a couple at the jameson inn last night, but 200 per night 2 night minimum. Good luck

Thanks and I'll be in touch. Let me know if you do get set up and you need us to bring anything. We are coming from Georgia so it won't be that bad of a trip to load up the grill, propane burner, or anything else you may need. You can email me @ dffruge@yahoo.com with any info or requests. thanks :geauxtigers:
tailgating in TTown
Posted by bayoubengal0026 on 10/26/09 at 3:29 pm
I am making the trip to TTown and have never been. Can anyone give any good places to tailgate or know where any LSU tailgates will be that wouldn't mind hosting a couple more fellow Tigers. Thanks
