Which is why...its better to spend that $10 (just) on something else if your only getting 3 pts. I mean, I don't know how many you have to have to qualify for season tickets (chance of getting them). But it has to be more then the 12 your going to accumulate over your college career.

You obviously don't know how TAF works. Anyone who tells others "not to join" doesn't have a clue. If you want LSU tickets in the future at the cheapest possible price, start donating $100 per year to TAF as early in your life as possible. It'll only take about 5-8 years, and you'll finally be high enough to get some tix and you'll be in the stadium for the rest of your life (and can upgrade as the years go on and the LSU win-loss cycles come and go). If you can start donating as a college student ($10 for 1 point), all the better.

Donating to TAF is like saving for retirement. The earlier you start, the earlier you're going to get what you want.

It doesn't take much money to get in the top 3000 of the TAF rankings (which when you are there you get anything you want really including opportunity to buy away tickets and bowl tickets, including national championship game tix if applicable). It just takes consistency in donations year-in-year-out to move up the rankings. Make sure you get your $100 in each year to get your 3 points. Before you know it you'll be moving up the rankings.

No, you can do one or the other ...

$10 for 1 points

OR

$100 for 3 points

I'd recommend giving the $100 for 3 points, for obvious reasons.

which when you are there you get anything you want really

except Bama away tix last year or a parking pass...top 1700 wouldn't get you that.

I have been doing both for the last 3 years. So the answer is YES, you can.

Just an add.....Some people get busy and forget, so you can also have TAF bill you for the $100. Futhermore, as you mentioned, " It just takes CONSISTENCY..."
