I give my $10 a year as a collegiate club member. Can I give $100 extra and be considered "Gold Level" while still in the collegiate club?

quote:

TAF Champions Fund Gold Membership
$100 - $4999 a year

* TAF Membership Card
* 3 TAF Membership Priority Points
* 2 points per every $1,000 donated
* Opportunity to attend TAF pre-game parties
* TAF Window Decal
* Tiger Land News daily email

* Applies only to donations actually received by TAF on or after January 1, 2002

Giving money to the TAF is probably the single worst investment you could make unless you plan on giving the big bucks.

My great uncle, who has given a minimum $500,000 to the TAF a year for the past 15-20 is able to pull right up to the stadium, food and drinks catered, etc. Thats one of the big perks for giving alot.

Being a peon, you should just save your money and go to Arby's. At least you'll leave happy.

Edit: He has a box or whatever they call it. Suite maybe.

I have given 100 dollars the last couple of years and am up to 10 total points now. it is definitely worth starting early and giving 100 now if you can. cause it takes like 1000 dollars after you graduate to equal that 100 dollars now

Which is why...its better to spend that $10 (just) on something else if your only getting 3 pts. I mean, I don't know how many you have to have to qualify for season tickets (chance of getting them). But it has to be more then the 12 your going to accumulate over your college career.

I've never been an optimist when it came to the TAF. I've gone a round or two with them before. Money talks and BS walks. My grandfather paid money into the TAF for years (or whatever it was called before) and he never was able to upgrade to the tickets they want. Along comes a few guys and gives a shite ton in one year. Bumps his arse down the priority list.

Also...Redfish...who is that girl in your avatar? GF? If so, major props.

If you have alot, you get priority for season tickets and more importantly post season tickets for every sport. But of coarse, Football is the reason people give the money.

If gathered up every baseball or basketball booster you'd barely have enough to fill half of R2 in Alex Box

You get three points for $100, or 1 point for $10. You cannot do both. The $100 is a much better investment. You'll know for next year.
