my answer is "false".
Exhibits A and B:
Florida and Texas. Someone please tell me how much better our recruiting classes the past couple years were than these 2 schools?
Bingo.

Next year - True.
Most years - True.
All years - False.

I don't think anybody is, so when it is framed that way Les isn't too far behind. Monday night showed that Saban is still superior all in all, albeit not egregiously superior.

To answer the thread title; No, you can't just wing it and stumble upon 10 wins, even if you have great talent. That talent needs to be assembled and groomed and taught the intricacies of how to play each position. All of this makes sense in my mind but yall don't have to agree with it and that's totally understandable.

Monday morning Les was considered a top notch coach. One bad night doesn't change that. Booby H has lot longer history of being a douche and Monday night proved that to be true and just to be safe he went around today and made sure you knew he was and still is a douche.

Bobby Hebert is stupid. Just because he gets drunk on the radio and played quarterback doesn't mean he knows shite about this LSU football team.
He's partial towards his son. And since his son isn't that great and didn't play much towards the end of the season, he doesn't like Les Miles.
He has no credibility here. Maybe if the Saints had just made the Super Bowl and I felt like hearing someone be shithoused on air, he'd be relevant.

Bubby hebert should know how to benifet from defense. He road the coat of the dome patrol. Loser.

False, but lots of coaches could win 10 games with this talent. Not sure how many could assemble the talent that CLM has brought here. Miles deserves credit for everything he's done. He just really really screwed the pooch Monday.

I think the statement is true BUT we have to remind ourselves that these are Les's recruits... so it's not like Miles has had very little impact on success.

Most of the assclowns throwing their arguments against Bobby never even stepped foot on LSU's campus anyway. Why do we have to hear your opinions about LSU football?
