Yeah, that was a poorly thought out hire. He was trying to end his career with a jewel he had not yet achieved and had a team ready-made to accomplish that for him his first year, and he couldn't do it. After that he was pretty much punching a clock, which I thought was pretty predictable.
I thought we paid too much for Nikki, but I like her and hope she succeeds. I think the only was she can justify the salary is to become elite again, and be mentioned in the same breath as Baylor, UCONN and Tennessee. I hope she can get there.
