How confident are you that we'd beat them? I'm pretty sure we'd handle them. I know their offense could give our defense fits but it's not like they have all of Florida's weapons. I'd also have to assume we could control the clock with our running game since their defense is comparable to ours.

Tech has a much better passing game than Fla, no comparison.

Yeah, but they don't have the athletes Florida has either. Crabtree is great but who else they got?

we got about 3 other receivers that get the job done, besides Crab, Crab is the main guy, but if keyed on others will rise to the occassion. Fla. has a suspect passing game, there spread is more run oriented, Techs receivers will make a secondary work.

I would not be surprised if we met TTU in the cotton bowl this year.

The following teams would concern me:
Texas, Oklahoma, Mizzou, OK State and Texas Tech.

due to their passing attack and point production.

Penn State and USC do not concern me as much

AL and GA are beatable, depending on how we play.

I like your optimism, but no. "Handle" Texas Tech we wouldn't right now. It'd be another ugly loss. Our defense sucks and I told everyone that after the MSU game. I knew we'd get spanked by UF, but I just didn't think it'd be as bad as it was. I predicted 31-17 UF win, so I was being too optimistic.

I'd give LSU a 7% chance of beating TT.

assclown, you got your own problems to be concerned with, I'm not gonna get into a what ya'll down lately game with you. Florida's cheap spread just ran all over ya'll, not pass, because Tebow doen't know how.

besides I'm responding to the original poster.

I don't think Tech could hang with LSU for longer than a half.

Texas Tech is way overrated. I doubt they get any wins over final ranked teams. They would put up 70 on this defense however. LSU would have to score 71. Believe it or not, Florida had a very average offense before saturday night, and is not a quick strike offense. Tech is.

So, what you are saying is Tech has not been to a Big 12 Championship game ?
or won a Big 12 south championship ?
Or really done anything notable except run a painfully unsound gimmick offense?
and you like to hang out on the Tiger rant and deconstruct LSU just to be close to the greatness?

Wow. Who knew ?
