Well the second baseman didn't make the tag and the runner didn't run out of the basepath so it's a bad call either way.

The ump signaled the runner out of the baseline. And games like this are why elimination games are scary. One or two bad breaks and your season is over.

pretty close to outside of 3 feet from the baseline. could have gone either way. if he called a tag out then clearly wrong of course.

He moved to his side to avoid the tag and then rounded to second.
