re: Student Athletes love for the tigers after they move on?

So... this is sort of but not really the same question, but in reverse. Did anyone go to the Saints/Packers game? It was hard to hear over the announcer drivel, but it almost sounded like the crowd cheered around the time that Matt Flynn came out on the field. Did this happen, or did I imagine it? I always liked to hear Flynn's info b/c they'd talk about him sort of growing up an LSU fan in Tyler, etc. It's always nice when you hear about a player actually rooting for his team even before he signs on. It was a shame, the announcers missed a golden opp to mention the last time he played on that field, etc. But nfl people don't seem to pay attn to college fb.
